Well not surprised after expecting lows that were much colder than normal for this time of year, but it looks like Wabush Airport set a new record low last night. You can read the specifics here.
Otherwise we are expecting about 5 to 10 mm of freezing rain for GNP-East and southeastern Labrador. There are freezing rain warnings in effect and you can read up about those here.
Just small updates for this morning. I am planning to take a more in depth look at the rest of the week tonight. Just note that the agreement for Monday and beyond is still really bad, so I wouldn’t make any hard plans based on anything you’re seeing from any apps. Having said that, it does look like there will be precipitation around, so maybe don’t plan a picnic if it says rain.
