As we eye our first small heat wave of the summer, we also eye our first day of summer on Thursday. Coincidentally, that will also be the hottest of the two days. I have some tips on beating the heat in the Thursday update, but generally try to stay out of direct sun and stay hydrated, and try to check in with anyone you know that is vulnerable to extreme heat / humidity. It never hurts to make sure people are doing ok.
Otherwise, we have a bit of a cool off for Friday and beyond, which maybe some rain and wind coming for Monday.
