So yesterday was a bit wild when it comes to temperature. We set 10 daily temperature records, and 3 records for the entire month of December. Suffice to say, on the extreme end of warmer than normal. This seems to be a yearly occurrence these days, which really shouldn’t be the case if you’re talking about extremes. Otherwise, we had a bunch of warnings out but they have all since ended. We are in the clear for roughly 1 week (from anything major at least). I see a lot of stations reported between 90 and 110 km/h gusts, western parts of the GNP reported about 40 to 50 mm worth of precipitation (I’m going to guess not all of it was rain), and Goose Bay reported about 24 cm of snow, Makkovik about 15 cm.
