Seeing how things are fairly quiet and I haven’t posted some normals for a little while, so here we go:

For Newfoundland normal highs this time of year should be between -2 and -5 C. Lows are normally between -10 and -16 C.

In Labrador, normal highs are between -11 and -16 C, lows are between -22 and -28 C.

So we’ve reached kind of our peak cold period for Newfoundland, while Labrador is slowly starting to warm up from this point onward. This makes sense when you think about it, the days are getting longer, there’s more chance for the sun to do it’s thing. We may still see some significant cold though, this is just the average temperatures over the past 30 years.
