Well look at that, we’re all done for alerts for the time being. It’s nice to wake up on Easter Morning without any nasty weather eggs to find. Looking ahead, it’s probably going to be a somewhat quiet week, just a lot of onshore dankness from the persistent northeasterly winds.
Looking back at this past storm, it seems it threw us a few curveballs in how it played out. We saw quite a bit more rain over the west coast than most of the solutions really showed. The solutions that did show that much rain didn’t have it where it happened. We also saw some significant freezing rain happen but not quite where it was expected. Finally, looks like the snow over the Mid Labrador Coast ended up a bit wetter than expected, making the accumulations a little lower than forecast. Here’s the rainfall summary from Rodney below.
I plan on doing some updates later tonight as I have a few things I need to get done while daylight is handy.
