I am heading into my last of three night shifts (Thank Goodness…). I’ve manage to update Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. That should cover most of the significant weather this week. You can find the latest details on alerts here.
Otherwise, the normals for this week are as follows: Newfoundland’s average highs are between -1 and -4 C, with lows between -8 and -14 C. In Labrador normals remain somewhat steady, between -13 and -17 C for highs and between -23 and -28 C for lows. So it’s possible that for Labrador this is generally the coldest period of the year. We’ll see if it starts to rise next week or maybe it just plateaus for a few weeks.
