May the 4th be with you is what you’ll probably hear a few times today, depending on how nerdy your circle is. Either way, I think the most exciting part is the beginning of the end of the northeast flow (for most of us… sorry Avalon).

There’s no significant weather expected any time soon, although we could see seeing our first wide spread dip into the 20 C pool. We’ll have to see how tomorrow and Monday play out.

In the meantime, the average highs for this time of year continue to creep upwards. In Newfoundland we’d expected 6 to 11 C, and in Labrador 3 to 9 C. Lows in Newfoundland should be between -1 and 1 C, while in Labrador the range is -5 to -1 C. Won’t be too much longer now before everything is above 0 C!
