So winter might not be quite done with us yet. Well of course it isn’t, it’s only March. In any case, while we wait to see how this potential system plays out later this week, here are your normals.

The average high for Newfoundland is 1 to -2 C, the average low is -7 to -13 C. For Labrador, the highs are normally between -5 and -10 C, and the lows are between -17 and -24 C. So we’ve officially crossed back into the positives for some places on the Island. I guess we’re starting to enter the good maple syrup production time of year with warm days and cold nights.
