The eclipse day is upon us. I have updated the page for today as early as I could manage this morning. It’s looking like we’ll certainly have a chance to see this eclipse today. My plan is to wait until about noon to 1pm, check the satellite on the progress of the cloud and then start heading towards the closest area of sunshine I can find. The best position to be by mid afternoon seems to be somewhere in central / east-central. (At least for those of us in the east. If you’re in the west, I think the further southwest you go will probably be the better. If the west coast is lucky, you’ll be able to see the sun below the high cloud on the horizon.
I have no yet updated the rest of the days, but I will either do them later this morning, or later tonight. If I’m going to be driving around, I’d like to have a bit more sleep. Good luck, and if you are driving around remember to drive safely and be careful. There is likely to be a lot of traffic on the road today for anyone who cares enough to try and chase the sunshine.
