As I head into another round of night shifts, I was able to do a little updating. It’s looking like a busy 7 days coming up, with lots of flavours of weather. However, it’s generally looking like a snow pack killer, especially for Newfoundland. Lots of mild days and nights with rain and a light to moderate breeze. If you have any last minute winter activities you’d like to get done, perhaps do it ASAP. It should be a little less dramatic in Labrador, but most areas should end up with less snow than they had starting this week.
As for current alerts, we have some freezing rain warnings in effect for southeastern Labrador and the GNP, along with a Wreckhouse warning. You can check those specific details out here. I would also not be surprised to see some rainfall warnings pop up in the next couple of days.
