It’s starting to look like the second half of this week is going to be rather busy, with two significant low moving through, and a potentially stationary frontal boundary connecting the two. If things all line up and there’s not much east-west movement to this system, it could spell some pretty heavy rainfall amounts, specifically for Newfoundland’s southwest / west coast. There would also be potential for significant snowfall with both storms, but at least there seems to be a break in between. We’ll have to wait and see, as there’s plenty of time to wiggle around. If we’re lucky there’s a couple of kinks in the flow to spread the “wealth” around a bit. I’d rather we all deal with a decent shot of rain instead of one place getting way too much.
Unfortunately, with another big wind storm probable for Monday into Tuesday, it’s going to put a little pressure on the mail carriers to get stuff to the online on time. Hopefully stuff doesn’t get too delayed.
Geesh… all good news eh?
